The pop icon’s bold looks left fans stunned — but not everyone was impressed.
Critics took to social media to slam JLo, calling her “desperate” over the revealing ensembles. “For goodness sake, put on some clothes!” one critic wrote.

Shimmering silver bodysuit
One standout look featured a shimmering silver bodysuit by The Blonds, decorated with hundreds of clear rhinestones and designed with a plunging neckline and high-cut legs that highlighted her toned physique.
Another look was a sleek black patent leather catsuit by Rey Ortiz, complete with faux beige cutouts around the hips. JLo also lit up the stage in a sequined outfit designed to resemble flames, adding to her fiery stage presence.
On Instagram, Lopez gave a “major shoutout” to The Blonds for “slaying” her outfits and thanked Rey Ortiz for the “fierce black catsuit moment.” She wrote, “You all didn’t just understand the assignment, you rewrote it. Queens of the stage, crowned and confirmed!”
Not everyone shared the same excitement. Critics quickly voiced their opinions online.
“For the life of me I don’t understand why she has to perform half naked all the time,” one commenter wrote.
“We get it! You have a fabulous body for your age. Enough already. Or why bother with clothes at all?”

The performance came shortly after her hosting appearance at the 2025 American Music Awards, where she drew attention after kissing both a male and female dancer during a performance medley featuring Birds of a Feather, Not Like Us, and Espresso.
The kisses, particularly the one with the female dancer, led to accusations of queerbaiting, with some claiming she was using LGBTQ+ themes for publicity. “Nobody else wants to kiss her, so they have to,” one critic wrote.
Another added, “She’s desperate for attention. And she’s getting it by doing stupid things.” Some also speculated she was trying to make ex-husband Ben Affleck jealous, with one commenter saying, “After four husbands she needed to go to the other side.”
Speaking of Affleck, reports this month suggested the Gone Girl actor is ready to fully move on following the end of his and Lopez’s 2022 marriage earlier this year.
Sources claimed the former couple reduced the asking price of their 12-bedroom Bel Air mansion from $68 million to $60 million, despite buying it for $60.85 million in May 2023.
“Ben and J.Lo lowered the price on their Beverly Hills mansion for $8 million less than they paid, but this is nothing to Ben,” a source reportedly told Daily Mail. “He really just wants it sold so he can cut the final tie that still connects him and Jennifer.”
The source added, “Ultimately, he hopes they find a buyer soon and doesn’t care about taking a multi-million-dollar loss. His marriage and divorce already cost him millions, so what’s another couple million? It’s a small price to pay.”
Despite the financial loss, the insider claimed Affleck understands Lopez will remain part of his life because of the friendships between their children, but “this house is the one last thing that symbolizes their marriage.”
