A former adult film star who claimed she once had a sexual encounter with President Donald Trump did not hold back when describing the experience.
In her memoir, Stormy Daniels offered a blunt and highly unflattering account of the alleged encounter — even comparing the president’s anatomy to an unexpected object.
Unflattering comparison
Stormy Daniels sparked controversy after making direct comments about Donald Trump’s anatomy during a television interview. The former adult film actress, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, made the remarks in 2018 while promoting her memoir Full Disclosure on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
In the book, she described an alleged 2006 encounter with Trump — something the president has repeatedly denied.
During the interview, Daniels expanded on a passage from the memoir that had already circulated widely online.
In the book, she portrayed the encounter in unflattering terms and compared Trump’s anatomy to a character from the Mario Kart franchise.
Shutterstock Host Jimmy Kimmel leaned into the moment by presenting several mushrooms and asking Daniels to identify which one most closely matched her description. Daniels joked about the situation before choosing one of the smallest mushrooms on the table.
She also discussed the reaction that followed.
“Do you know how much hate mail I’ve gotten from people who love Mario Kart?” she said. “In one day, I managed to ruin half of America’s childhood and mushroom farming everywhere.”
How they met, according to Daniels
Daniels also recounted how the alleged encounter began. She said they first met at a golf tournament and that Trump later invited her to dinner in his hotel suite. According to Daniels, he opened the door wearing silky black pajamas.
“I’m pretty sure I thought he was channeling Hugh Hefner — but significantly less sexy,” she said.
She claimed the dinner he promised never actually happened.
“Like, he lied to me,” she said. “I’m very food‑motivated. That’s why I stayed and held out for so long because I was told there would be snacks. I was starving!”
Convicted on 34 counts
Daniels also described another moment in which she said she spanked Trump with a magazine featuring his own face on the cover — a scene she briefly reenacted during the show.
Her account later became a key part of the legal case that unfolded in New York in 2024.
Trump was convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records after arranging for his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to pay Daniels $130,000 ahead of the 2016 presidential election in exchange for her silence about the alleged relationship.

Trump has consistently denied that any affair occurred.
Following the conviction, his legal team filed a lengthy appeal arguing that the case was politically motivated. His lawyers described it as “the most politically charged prosecution in our Nation’s history,” claiming prosecutors had improperly built felony charges during a presidential election campaign.
They also argued that some evidence should have been excluded based on a Supreme Court ruling stating that presidents cannot be prosecuted for actions considered “official acts.”
