Heughan’s character, Jamie Fraser, is a devoted husband and father — but in real life, the actor appears to be single.
The Scottish star has been linked to a few women over the years, but he largely keeps his romantic life private. In a May 2023 interview with PEOPLE, Heughan said he’s a “romantic at heart,” but admitted he’s “still looking” for his real‑life Claire.
He has also been candid about how dating has taken a backseat to his career.
“Certainly, relationships are hard when you’re working in Scotland 10 months a year,” he told Inquirer in January 2020. “I travel a lot and any downtime I have, I’m trying to do other projects, so very much, my career comes first. Maybe I will find someone eventually.”
