Zendaya wore what appears to be a wedding band beneath her engagement ring on her left‑hand ring finger in newly released promotional photos for her upcoming film, The Drama. The photos were shared by A24 four days after stylist Law Roach claimed the actress and Tom Holland’s wedding “already happened.” Holland has not yet been seen wearing a wedding band.
Just days after stylist Law Roach claimed Zendaya and Tom Holland secretly tied the knot, the actress was spotted wearing what looks like a gold wedding band.
The new jewelry was visible on that finger when A24 released a new video and photos of Zendaya, 29, and costar Robert Pattinson, 39, promoting their upcoming movie, The Drama, on Thursday, March 5.
According to A24, neither actor — who play a couple in the film — is in character for the shoot, which took place in early February in New York City. Pattinson is not wearing any rings in the photos, while Zendaya appears to be wearing her real diamond engagement ring rather than the prop jewelry her character, Emma Harwood, has been seen wearing in other promotional materials for the romantic black comedy. Beneath it sits the eyebrow‑raising second ring.
PEOPLE has reached out to photographer Sean Thomas and Zendaya’s representative for comment.

Roach, Zendaya’s longtime stylist — who also styled The Drama photo shoot — claimed on Sunday, March 1, that her nuptials “already happened.” While speaking with Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards, he told correspondent Keltie Knight, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.” When Knight asked if that was true, Roach, 47, replied, “It’s very true!”
He repeated the claim to Entertainment Tonight that same evening, teasing to Nischelle Turner, “The wedding already happened. Y’all missed it. The wedding’s over, sorry.”
At the time, PEOPLE reached out to reps for Zendaya and Holland regarding the rumored wedding.
Zendaya’s mother, Claire Stoermer, fueled the marriage speculation the next day when she reacted to Roach’s comments in a since‑expired Instagram Stories post. She neither confirmed nor denied the claim, instead sharing a clip from Roach’s Entertainment Tonight interview and writing, “The laugh….😂.”

On Thursday, Feb. 26, just a few days before Roach claimed Holland and Zendaya were married, the Odyssey star, 29, stepped out without a wedding band while shopping at Laurel Market in West Hollywood, Calif.
Since Zendaya subtly revealed her engagement to Holland last January — when she appeared at the 2025 Golden Globes wearing a diamond ring on her left‑hand ring finger — she and Holland have kept their wedding plans private. Roach even said last summer that fans might never see wedding photos.

“She and Tom are super private about their relationship. They’re trying to be as private as possible. There won’t be a Vogue spread or pictures of the wedding, and the people she invites will be very respectful of their privacy, so it will be a really beautiful dress that no one gets to see,” Roach said on a May 2025 episode of Complex’s Please Explain series.
A source told PEOPLE in January 2025 that the Spider‑Man: No Way Home costars wanted to take time to enjoy their engagement before planning a wedding. “They will just enjoy things for now and won’t rush a wedding. They are both busy with work projects,” the insider said.
The Drama, meanwhile, comes from filmmaker Kristoffer Borgli, who previously directed Nicolas Cage in 2023’s Dream Scenario. The upcoming film also stars Alana Haim, Mamoudou Athie, and Hailey Benton Gates.
According to the official synopsis, the movie follows “a happily engaged couple” whose relationship is tested when an unexpected revelation derails their wedding week. Fittingly, the first teaser — released in December 2025 — showed the pair in character as Emma and Charlie during a warm‑up photo shoot ahead of their wedding, though their awkward chemistry makes it clear something is off.
The Drama debuts in theaters on Friday, April 3.
